Rhashida Bailey, Licensed Professional Counselor

Seeing Patients in: In Person Virtual

Rhashida Bailey is eager to help with a wide range of individual, family, and couples therapy needs. As she establishes her professional path in the world of mental health care, she intends to be of service and express gratitude towards the individuals she has the privilege to serve.

She completed her graduate degree at Wichita State University in July 2022, following a career as a certified nurse assistant. Her natural caregiving instincts inspired her transition into a professional path, with a goal to provide therapy services, drawing from her unique background to embrace person-centered counseling. With over 25 years in the medical field, she developed a deep connection to the geriatric and senior community, valuing their life experiences and wisdom. Rhashida is also passionate about trauma-informed care and aims to promote these services in the community. Her proudest achievement is returning to college at age 40, firmly believing that it’s never too late to change one’s story and seeing individuals as the authors of their own narratives.

In her free time, Rhashida loves music and dreams of recording music as one of her bucket list entries. She also finds joy in landscaping and gardening, often spending her off-hours tending to her yard. Her ultimate DIY project would be to create the perfect patio space outside, where she can enjoy Sunday football games and cozy up by the chiminea. Rhashida shares her home with Ramzey, a spirited three-year-old pit-bull who adores long walks and revels in playful mischief.
