Samantha (Sam) is a Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker (LSCSW) who is passionate about supporting her clients to make desired changes in their lives. She has experience working with children, teens, adults, and family systems. Sam believes we are all capable of change and she enjoys supporting clients towards healing and growth.
Sam has expertise in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Attachment, Regulation, and Competency (ARC), and Mindfulness techniques. In her practice, she has supported clients dealing with various issues including trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, self-esteem, and attachment. Sam has extensive experience working with families impacted by adoption, foster care, separation, and divorce. She is also currently working towards perinatal (prenatal and postpartum) mental health certification.
In her practice, Sam utilizes a strengths-based and solution-focused approach to best support her clients with positive change. She is able to quickly build rapport and trust within the therapeutic relationship. Sam approaches each client with empathy and a positive spirit and she finds true joy in seeing her clients empowered to reach their goals.
