Samantha (Sam) is a Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker (LSCSW) who is passionate about supporting women and families. Sam is trained in Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders through PSI and focuses her work on the motherhood journey. In her practice, she has supported clients dealing with various issues related to motherhood that include depression, anxiety, self-esteem and identity, birth trauma, pregnancy, loss, foster care, adoption, and parenting.
Sam utilizes a strengths-based and solution-focused approach to best support her clients with positive change. She is able to quickly build rapport and trust within the therapeutic relationship. As a mom herself, Sam has experienced the unrealistic expectations set for women on the motherhood journey and she is able to connect with her clients from a place of true empathy and understanding. Sam approaches each client with warmth and a positive spirit and she finds true joy in seeing her clients feel supported and empowered to reach their goals.
