I am a Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker, with significant experience in dual diagnosis treatment and addictions treatment. I have worked in social services for over 30 years, focusing on mental health, substance abuse treatment, and child welfare services. Over the last ten plus years, my focus has been more specialized with clients who are struggling with substance abuse and/or mental health, especially diagnoses of Depression, Anxiety, Borderline Personality Disorder, and PTSD. My work focuses on getting to know the clients and meeting them where they are at and assisting them in getting to the goals they want to meet.

I utilize a strengths-based approach and enjoy using narrative therapy, Structural Family Therapy, CBT (Cognitive Behavior Therapy) and Solution-Focused Therapy.

I assist clients in recognizing that our past experiences have contributed to who we are today. Yet, I also help clients to realize that at any time, we can change the direction we are going and set a new course for ourselves.
