Meredith Becker, Licensed Professional Counselor

Meredith Becker is passionate about people–their stories, their growth, and their journeys.  She believes every person has inherent worth and capacity for meaningful change and as people learn to recognize their strengths, they can embrace more possibilities and move towards greater wholeness.

With over 20 years of experience in education, including 8 years as a school counselor, Meredith brings a rich background in supporting children, teens, and families. Her experience also includes youth ministry, outdoor adventure programming, and camp ministry. She earned her undergraduate degree from John Brown University and her Master’s in Counseling from Wichita State University. Meredith also holds a certificate in play therapy and has additional training in grief and addiction counseling.

Meredith uses an eclectic, client-centered approach, tailoring therapy to meet each individual’s unique needs. Her work draws from a range of modalities, including Client-Centered Therapy, CBT, Solution-Focused Therapy, Gestalt, Narrative Therapy, and Play Therapy. She believes in helping clients discover their strengths, embrace new possibilities, and move toward greater wholeness across emotional, physical, relational, and spiritual dimensions.
