Lisa is a Licensed Master Social Worker with a deep passion for supporting people on their journey to healing, self-discovery, and empowerment. A proud graduate of Wichita State University with both a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and a Master’s in Social Work, Lisa has dedicated her education and career to serving Indigenous communities, children and families, and individuals navigating complex life challenges. She was an active member of the Phi Alpha Honor Society, the Indigenous Student Collective, and the Graduate Student Council during her studies, focusing her research and training on Indigenous women and families, Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women (MMIW), cultural competence, disability advocacy, and child welfare.

Drawing from her own lived experiences of resilience, Lisa approaches therapy with the belief that every person holds the wisdom of their own story. She partners with clients through a strengths-based lens to help them reconnect with their authentic selves and rewrite the messages or expectations that no longer serve them.

Since 2021, Lisa has worked closely with children and families in the child welfare system — advocating for Indigenous children under ICWA, supporting family networks, and helping parents and caregivers strengthen relationships. She has also worked with addictions, co-occurring disorders, mental health diagnoses, and veterans, offering a holistic perspective rooted in both clinical skill and cultural sensitivity.

Lisa incorporates a diverse range of approaches, including trauma-informed care, attachment theory, somatic practices, motivational interviewing, CBT, narrative therapy, art and sound therapy, mindfulness, and decolonization work. She is inspired by thought leaders such as Dr. Clarissa Pinkola Estés, Gabor Maté, Resmaa Menakem, Dr. Bruce Perry, and Lakota spirituality.

Lisa welcomes trauma survivors, neurodivergent individuals, BIPOC clients, LGBTQ+ communities, youth transitioning out of care, breast cancer survivors, and anyone seeking deeper connection with self and others. She believes therapy is not a one-time event but an ongoing process of becoming, and she is honored to provide an authentic, safe space for that journey.
