Aimee Kozushko, LMSW-T, brings a unique and compassionate approach to her work as a social worker, drawing from nearly two decades of experience as a massage therapist and educator, along with over 10 years in mental health, case management, and foster care. She earned her Associate’s degree in Creative Writing from Cowley Community College, a Bachelor’s degree in General Studies from Wichita State University, and completed her Master of Social Work at WSU in 2025.
Deeply rooted in community service, Aimee has served on numerous nonprofit boards and organizations, with a strong focus on advocacy, equity, and inclusion. For over 28 years, she has been an active member and supporter of the LGBTQIA+ community, as well as a devoted “Mama Bear” to a large family of foster and adopted children, many of whom identify as LGBTQIA+.
Aimee’s professional focus is on supporting adults, children, and families within marginalized and underserved communities—including LGBTQIA+ individuals, gender and sexual minorities, those in polyamorous or alternative relationship dynamics, kink/BDSM communities, BIPOC individuals, and sex workers. She is trauma-informed, strength-based, anti-oppressive, and affirming in her practice.
Her areas of expertise include helping clients navigate challenging family dynamics, trauma and PTSD, suicidal ideation, anxiety, depression, boundary-setting, chronic illness, emotion regulation, and self-care. With specialized experience supporting transgender and non-binary individuals, Aimee offers both in-person and virtual services designed to meet people where they are—with compassion, respect, and inclusivity at the center of care.
