Alicia is a clinical MSW student in her final year at the University of Kansas School of Social Welfare. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from KU in 2012 and has worked in a range of social service fields, including children’s and adult mental health, housing and homelessness, corrections, foster care, and with diverse populations such as Trans-identifying individuals, BIPOC communities, and people of all ages

Passionate about creating a safe, supportive space, Alicia helps clients reconnect with their authenticity, purpose, and self-trust. As a neurodiverse person with lived experience of mental health challenges and trauma, she brings deep empathy and respect to every session. Her approach is holistic and client-centered, integrating mindfulness, somatic practices, art therapy, and evidence-based tools to support healing for the mind, body, and spirit. She is especially passionate about helping those navigating trauma, anxiety, ADHD, bipolar disorder, PTSD, as well as other life challenges.

Outside of work, Alicia enjoys time with her husband, Justin, their two children, Carter and Aria, and their pets, Maggie and Bella. As a family, they love being outdoors, playing sports or games, and creating memories together.
