Chris believes therapy works best when it feels like a real partnership. He sees the relationship between therapist and client as built on trust, empathy, and a shared goal: helping you become the strongest version of yourself. Knowing that starting therapy can feel mysterious or overwhelming, Chris strives to guide and demystify the process, making it a safe and supportive journey.

Once that relationship is established, Chris looks at the whole picture — your relationships, work or school life, and community connections — to set clear, meaningful goals together. His approach blends Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Reality Therapy, all viewed through an existential lens. He is passionate about helping clients connect their everyday experiences to their deeper purpose.

Chris’s background includes working in adolescent psychiatric residential care, child welfare, and state-mandated family therapy. He’s also served as a full-time school counselor and worked in community mental health focusing on crisis assessment, diagnostics, and treatment planning. He holds a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and School Counseling from Adams State University in Colorado, and a Bachelor’s in Sociology from Coastal Carolina University in South Carolina.

Chris enjoys bringing warmth, clarity, and practical tools to therapy — and he’s committed to walking alongside clients as they grow, heal, and define their own path forward.
