Erica is a graduate student at Wichita State University, where she is currently pursuing her Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Erica is known for her calm and relaxed demeanor. Her passions lie in observing the ways our perceptions of the world influence how we interact with our surroundings, including those around us. Her goal is to help others step outside themselves to question the stories they’ve told themselves, and to create a new story based on self-acceptance and compassion.
Erica has 2 years of experience working with and learning about individuals struggling with mental health. She offers therapy to individuals of all ages dealing with a variety of concerns including anxiety, depression, grief, and trauma. In her work with clients, she utilizes person-centered, humanistic, and existential approaches, while incorporating narrative and mindfulness-based practices. When she’s not at the office, she enjoys swimming, baking, rock climbing, and spending time with her animals and fiance. Erica aims to create a space where every human can feel completely safe to be their true selves.
