Holly Merchant Chandler, Licenced Master Social Worker

Holly is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) with over ten years of experience supporting individuals, couples, and families through life’s challenges. A graduate of Washburn University, Holly has had the privilege of working in community mental health and healthcare settings, including hospice care. Her diverse background has equipped her with a unique skill set to help clients navigate a wide range of concerns, from mental health struggles to life transitions.

Holly is committed to providing compassionate, client-centered care in a safe, judgment-free space. She believes that each person is the expert of their own life, and her role is to guide clients on their journey toward healing, empowerment, and wellness. Holly specializes in treating anxiety (including health anxiety), ADHD, mood disorders, personality disorders, grief (including death and dying), relationship conflicts, and providing support for LGBTQIA+ individuals, their allies, and family members. She works with both adolescents and adults, offering therapy virtually, tailoring each approach to meet the unique needs of the client.

Holly’s therapeutic approach is rooted in trauma-informed care, focusing on creating a supportive environment where clients feel heard, valued, and respected. She believes in building on clients’ strengths and uses evidence-based techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and mindfulness practices. Through these approaches, Holly works collaboratively with clients to identify their goals, overcome obstacles, and make meaningful progress toward lasting change.
