Jenny Helms-Calvin, LCMFT, is the founder and CEO of Soma Therapy, Kansas’s largest outpatient mental health practice. She began her career as a therapist and founded Soma in 2019 with a vision of helping Wichita thrive beyond trauma. As Soma has grown, Jenny has stepped fully into her role as CEO—focusing on leadership, systems-building, and expanding access to innovative, trauma-informed mental health care.

Today, her work centers on guiding Soma’s growth, supporting strong leadership teams, and speaking with organizations and communities about trauma, relational health, and sustainable mental health care. Outside of work, Jenny enjoys music, creative expression, and time with her husband, friends, and her black Goldendoodle, Nora, who is always happy to step into her unofficial role as an office morale booster.
