Seeing Patients in: In Person
Kristen Peltzer is passionate about walking alongside others on their journey toward healing,
growth, and self-discovery. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Fort Hays
State University and completed her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Newman
University in 2024, with a special focus on trauma.
Kristen loves helping people build confidence and recognize the strengths they already carry
within. Her work centers on supporting individuals through trauma, adverse childhood
experiences, ADHD, relationship challenges, and the everyday stressors that affect mind and
body wellness. She believes in meeting each person where they are and creating a safe,
welcoming space where they feel heard, supported, and empowered.
With seven years of experience in the mental health field, Kristen has worked closely with
children and families in a variety of settings, including family preservation, medication
management, and children’s services. She is especially passionate about helping kids identify
their needs, create balance, and feel more in control of their emotions, while also working with
families to build strong, healthy connections.
Kristen’s approach is warm, collaborative, and strength-based. She believes in the power of a
strong therapeutic relationship and often incorporates mindfulness techniques to help clients
stay grounded and present. Her goal is always to provide a compassionate space where healing
feels possible and progress is celebrated.
When she’s not in the therapy room, you can often find Kristen outside enjoying a peaceful walk,
tending to her garden, or engaging with her local community. Nature and connection are two
things that keep her grounded—and she loves sharing those values with others.
