Nicole Phenegar is a Licensed Master’s Level Psychologist who recently earned her Master of Science in Clinical Psychology from Fort Hays State University, graduating in May 2025. She is passionate about working with adolescents and adults, supporting them in building resilience, improving emotional well-being, and navigating life’s challenges.

Nicole brings a unique perspective to her clinical work, shaped by over 13 years of service in the United States Air Force, where she achieved the rank of Technical Sergeant (E-6). During her military career, she served as an Aerospace Ground Equipment Maintainer and held diverse leadership roles in Maintenance Operations, Base Plans Management, and Quality Assurance. She also facilitated Resiliency training courses, fostering personal growth and mental toughness in others. This experience instilled in her a deep understanding of stress management, adaptability, and the importance of holistic well-being.

After separating from the Air Force, Nicole pursued her passion for psychology full-time. She gained valuable clinical experience during her internship year with Soma, working at both the Central and College Hill locations. In addition, she supported children with intellectual and developmental disabilities at Comcare Children’s Services, helping provide tailored mental health care and behavioral support.

Now stepping into her career as a Licensed Master’s Level Psychologist, Nicole combines her military discipline, leadership skills, and clinical expertise to create a compassionate, client-centered approach to care. She is committed to empowering her clients to build healthier, more fulfilling lives
