Sianna is a Marriage and Family Therapist, graduating from Friends University’s Marriage and Family Therapy program. Formerly, she was a middle school and high school teacher, with over 9 years of experience teaching in the Wichita Public Schools and overseas in Asia.

Sianna has a passion for hearing people’s stories and working alongside them as they become more connected with themselves and their inner voice. She enjoys working with adolescents, adults, couples, and families, and has an interest in working with clients presenting with depression, social anxiety, PTSD, relational issues and/or trauma, and recovery from substance use.

Sianna provides a calm, non-judgmental presence, and believes in a collaborative approach to therapy. Every treatment plan and session is unique to the client and their needs. As a trauma- informed therapist, she enjoys utilizing somatic techniques, such as mindfulness, body exercises, and grounding techniques. She was an AAMFT Minority Fellowship Fellow, trained in employing culturally competent mental health and substance abuse services to underserved minority populations. She is also trained in Gottman Couples Therapy, as well as Prepare and Enrich Premarital Counseling.

“Sharing difficult truths might come with a cost—the need to face them—but there’s also a reward: freedom. The truth releases us.” – Lori Gottlieb

Outside of therapy, Sianna enjoys being with friends and family, reading, live music, and a comfy hammock.
